AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT

Trailers

facilitate the fast launching of the Harvesters and Transporters, and are equipped with winches for easy retrieval. A built-in mechanical guidance system accurately positions the vessels on the road legal trailers.

Tilt Deck Trailers, in addition to the standard Trailer functions, are capable of storing vessels directly on the ground and of retrieving them from their parked positions without the aid of any other equipment.

Trailer Conveyors

incorporate the features of the Trailers and also have the capability of storing, transporting and unloading the biomass at a disposal site. They are equipped with self-contained, hydraulically driven conveying systems, and this equipment increases the scope of harvesting by providing a low cost solution to biomass transportation and disposal.

Shore Conveyors

are an unloading link between a Harvester or Transporter and a land-based dump truck. They encompass a conveyor body, an interlock system, and an undercarriage on wheels for local transport. They can accommodate water/land level differentials of up to 17' (5.1m). Shore Conveyors are available with an integral hydraulic power pack or with a quick-disconnect system which uses the hydraulic power from the Harvester.

SUPPORT EQUIPMENT

The Aquarake

removes rooted plants and other sedimentary material from the water, and is excellent for shallow waters and shoreline cleanup. The removal of rooted nuisance plants helps to reduce the nutrients which cause plant growth. Driven by two paddlewheels, the Aquarake is highly manoeuvrable and easy to operate. The hydraulic arm can be fitted with various attachments for ancillary applications.

Transporters & Hydrashuttles

are a family of self-contained vessels propelled by hydraulically driven paddlewheels, outboard engine(s), an inboard/outboard diesel engine or hydraulic outboard engine(s). They are designed to move larger masses of harvested vegetation from a Harvester at the harvesting site to an onshore off-loading site. Bow loading and unloading assures the operator of unobstructed vision at all times from the raised bridge. The front conveyor couples automatically to the Harvester in the collecting mode, and while off-loading it couples to a shore conveyor which then transfers the biomass directly into a dump truck.

FLOATING DEBRIS RETRIEVAL VESSELS

Trash Hunters

are a family of heavy-duty workboats for use in ports, harbours, marinas and other bodies of water. They are designed for the purpose of collecting and loading floating trash and debris onto their storage conveyors, transporting the cargo to an off-loading point and discharging the load into a suitable container or transport. Depending on the size and capacity, the Trash Hunters are propelled by hydraulically driven paddlewheels, outboard engine(s), inboard/outboard diesel engine(s) or hydraulic outboard(s), and they are capable of collecting up to 1200 cubic feet (34m3) of floating debris per load.
