The singer showed off her dyed her short cropped dark hair with fierce yellow streaks at the same time as stepping out in her brand new boots in New York last night.
She wore a sassy little dress and sexy Stella McCartney thigh-skimming perforated boots to Philippe Chow restaurant, before heading to Avenue Night Club.
And even though it was dark, she arrived at the club wearing a pair of shades.
The Stella McCartney boots, which cost £715, are a must-have item for fashionistas this season but have already sold out and have a long waiting list, even though they only suit the very long-legged.
The legging-look boots, which are made from faux leather, have dominated fashion weeks in both London and New York and there have been similar styles on the Prada and Chloe catwalks.
Celebrities such as Madonna, Lindsay Lohan, Lady GaGa and U.S. reality star Kim Kardashian are already fans of the trend.
Rihanna, 21, is preparing to release her new album and has recruited Justin Timberlake and Chase & Status to produce the record.

Beyonce to play Malaysia concert
R&B star Beyonce has announced plans to perform in Malaysia, two years after scrapping a concert over the country's strict dress code. The singer is due to stage a leg of her world tour in the capital Kuala Lumpur next month, according to her website.
In 2007, her planned appearance drew opposition from the Islamic Party and organisers said the concert was called off due to "scheduling conflicts". Female performers are expected to dress and behave conservatively in Malaysia.

Beyonce is being sued by apparel retailer Abercrombie & Fitch . Attorneys for the clothing retailer, known for its steamy shots of scantily clad models, claim B’s plan for a new fragrance to be launched early next year infringes on its existing trademark. In a federal lawsuit filed last week in Columbus, Ohio, Abercrombie claims a fragrance under the singer’s “Sasha Fierce” label “poses a likelihood of confusion” with the retailer’s own “Fierce” brand.

The 'Single Ladies' hitmaker has become heavily involved with Alexandra after performing a duet with her on the final of the British reality TV show 'The X Factor'. Alexandra has revealed that Beyonce has been supporting her throughout the recording of her debut album 'Overcome' in the US, Daily Star reported.
"She's such a lovely woman and now I'm working with all her people. In the studio in New York I was singing and I opened my eyes and my girl Beyonce was standing there. I went to cuddle her and cried. She said, 'You can't cry, we're friends now.' And I cried some more. I was like, 'You can't tell me things like that. You're Beyonce'," the 21-year-old singer said.
Alexandra, however did not reveal whether the former 'Destiny's Child' star will appear on her album, but she hopes to perform with her pretty soon.
"I can't confirm anything yet, but I'm hoping to be on the European leg of Beyonce's tour," Alexandra added.

Deemed to preceed an album release date reported by Play.com of November 23, sources claim the as-yet-untitled single could premiere "any day now".
While the news has not be substantiated by Rihanna's team or label home, singer/songwriter Ne-Yo says fans should expect a "never heard before" Rihanna when the music debuts.
"Expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one. Rihanna says some things on this album that you've never heard her say before," says Ne-Yo.
While the prospect of an angrier and edgier Rihannaa looks promising, in terms of creativity, Ne-Yo hopes she'll lighten up on a few songs.
"I'm not supposed to say anything but I'm going to work on as many songs as possible with her. I'm going to lighten her up. I don't want an angry Rihanna."
Rihanna's last single, titled "Rehab" was released in October of 2008. She has since been heard on Jay-Z's Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 charting single "Run This Town" alongside Kanye West.

“Husk,” a new horror motion picture from After Dark Films, has cast Devon Graye, of Showtime’s “Dexter,” CJ Thomason, who was featured on the David E. Kelley Fox television series “Boston Public” and Wes Chatham, who starred in 2007’s “In the Valley of Elah” and 2008’s “W.”
Graye portrays the smart one in the bunch while Thomason plays the down-to-earth, blue-collar guy and Chatham plays the jock. The movie also features Tammin Sursok, who plays Colleen Carlton on the CBS daytime drama, “The Young & the Restless,” and was in 2006’s “Aquamarine” opposite pop singer Joanna Levesque, aka JoJo.
“Husk” will be shooting in Iowa with Courtney Solomon, Stephanie Caleb, Moshe Diamant and Limor Diamant producing for After Dark, which has a distribution deal with Lionsgate.

Zach Galifianakis is in talks to star in the coming-of-age dramedy It's Kind of a Funny Story from Half Nelson writer-directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Emma Roberts is in talks to star in the film, which is based on Ned Vizzini's young-adult novel and tells of a teenage boy who, after a bout of depression, is sent to a mental institution, where he ends up in the adult ward and meets a number of offbeat adults as well as a quirky teenage girl.
Galifianakis would play one of the main adult roles, while Roberts would star as the teenage love interest.

It has just been announced that Tony Award-winning actor Denis O'Hare is to become the newest member of the cast of HBO's monster hit, TRUE BLOOD, alongside theater vets Anna Paquin, Sam Trammell and Anna Camp.
O'Hare won a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for his performance in Richard Greenberg's Take Me Out. He also won the 2005 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical for his role as Oscar Lindquist in the Broadway revival of Sweet Charity. In 2004 he played Charles J. Guiteau in the Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim's Assassins, for which he was nominated for the Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical Tony Award. He lost to co-star Michael Cerveris who played John Wilkes Booth. Before appearing in those shows, he appeared on Broadway in the 1998 revival of Cabaret, in which he played Ernst Ludwig onstage and the clarinet in the show's orchestra, the "Kit Kat Band." O'Hare was featured in the HallMark Hall of Fame presentation of Saint Maybe. He has appeared as a guest star on several episodes of Law & Order and its spin-offs, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In 2008, he has appeared as a guest star on several episodes of Brothers & Sisters. The Last Night star's sibling, real name Neffeteria Pugh, and her fiance Soullow welcomed little Nayla Noelle Laverne Lowery into the world on Friday morning (11Sep09), two weeks premature.
The newborn and her mother will remain in hospital until later this week (begs14Sep09), reports Sister2Sister magazine.

"Expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one. Rihanna says some things on this album that you''ve never heard her say before," Contactmusic quoted Ne-Yo, who is working with the 21-year-old singer on the record, as saying.
It is thought Rihanna could be planning to sing about the assault, or about the violence, following which she ended her relationship with Brown.
Brown recently pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna, and has been sentenced to five years probation and six months community labour
