Kunis has been dating Culkin actor since 2002 but the low-profile couple is rarely seen out together and often refuse to discuss their romance with the media.
But the 26-year-old admits Culkin plays a huge role in her life because they've grown up together, surviving several difficult periods and the trappings of Hollywood at one another's side.
She tells Women's Health magazine, "I don't know if I met him at 27 if it would have been a different relationship. We grew up together. You find a steady rock in your life and that's all you need. We have our ups and downs, but work through them."
