Her claim to fame includes The Suite Life of Zac & Cody and High School Musical movie franchise not to mention her music engagements.
Her sister then co-star Jennifer were Jewish courtesy of their mother. This young hot actress remains simple and humble despite her enormous success making her “The Anti-Paris” tagged by entertainment news network TMZ. Compared to her contemporaries, Ashley with her golden-dyed hair proves her acting and singing abilities in numerous occasions since she was twelve. Before her HM days, she guested in7th Heaven, Grounded for Life, Boston Public, Once and Again, Beverly Hills 90210 and Charmed.
Then auditioned for the role as Maddie Fitzpatrick in Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zac& Cody. Due to the series popularity, she was casted as Sharpay Evans in another Disney production High School Musical. She's not your typical tv actress as she also appeared in movies for small roles such as Donnie Darko, Nathan's Choice and The Mayor of Oyster Bay. Apart from the tv shows and films I've mentioned, you can catch her in Phineas and Ferb voicing the character Candice Flynn and another set of movies such as High School Musical 3, Picture This and You Wish.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: 'suite Life' Star's Mall Tour Draws Big Crowds
Ashley Tisdale's musical career is definitely in full swing. Another Disney-backed young pop talent who's appeared in productions such as the High School Musical film series and the television sitcom show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, she's currently on a public performance tour that's taking her from mall to mall across the country. Tisdale recently swung by the Southridge Mall located in Milwaukee, WI, where she was met by a horde of over 4,000 fans. Many of them had started to line up for more than 12 hours before the show was scheduled to kick off, just for a chance to watch her perform.
The crowd in Milwaukee was twice the size of the one she sang for in Chicago. During her performance, she opted not to do any High School Musical songs, but let them hear several tunes from her new debut album instead. Tisdale's session was fairly short, spanning only three songs and ten minutes, and she sang right outside the entrance of a JC Penney store. To her credit, she also sung live instead of lip syncing, as many of her young peers in the entertainment industry seem to do all too-often. The fans who got there the earliest had the chance to meet and greet Tisdale, with autographs being signed and photos being snapped for many of them.
Earlier in the day, the actress was also seen shopping in the Southridge Mall several hours before her performance was scheduled to start. A tipster called in to the Milwaukee Street Journal to let them know that Tisdale had the Victoria's Secret clothing store shut down so she could browse and make her purchases peacefully and in private, without being bothered by ogling fans. While a manager for the establishment admitted that she did buy from them, no more details were given out.
High School Musical 2 Wins Best Soundtrack Album at the 35th Annual American Music Awards
The High School Musical fever does not stop here as the highly successful Disney franchise has another award to add up to its string of honors. The soundtrack album of the Disney Channel Original Movie sequel was recognized by the 35th Annual American Music Awards as Best Soundtrack Album this year. The event was held last Sunday at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles , California , where cast members Vanessa Anne Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, among others, were there to receive the award.
It is the first time in the history of the American Music Awards that the winners of the 35th Annual American Music Awards were garnered from online voting. The fans of High School Musical took this opportunity to vote for their favorite soundtrack, which beat the albums of Hairspray and Dreamgirls.
High School Musical 2's soundtrack, which was released in August, debuted at the number 1 spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, Amazon.com, and iTunes Store, where it initially sold 615,000 and shipped double platinum with 2 million copies during its first week of release. A month later, the tally increased significantly, and thus the album became the fourth-biggest first week sales of 2007. Within three months, the CD was able to sell over 3.5 million copies worldwide.
It isn't a surprise that the album has garnered huge sales in such a short period of time. The made-for-TV Disney film, which chronicles the young lovers Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) during their summer break at the resort owned by the family of antagonist and spoiled brat Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale), has also garnered an impressive 17.2 million viewers in the United States during its premiere, thus making it the highest rated basic cable broadcast in the history of the United States. Not only has the franchise spawned various product lines such as video games and other tween products, but it has also launched the solo careers of two of its main cast, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, who have released their solo albums soon after the first High School Musical movie was aired.

High School Musical 2 - Endearing Musical from Disney Channel
Disney channel has released their new movie High School Musical 2. This movie targets not only the teenagers but also appeals to the adults. It showcases the age-old values and their significance in everyone’s life.
Disney is famous for producing movies that are suitable for children. Parents are carefree and do not have to worry about their children watching anything on the channel that would prove harmful; including graphic language, racy dialogue, violence, etc. High School Musical 2 definitely falls in this category. High School Musical 2 is the sequel to the High School Musical and was released on August 17, 2007 on the US Disney channel.
The movie has been written by Peter Barsocchini and directed by Kenny Ortega. It has a simple plot but still manages to hold the viewers attention. Stressing the importance of friendship, the movie covers the journey of the protagonists and how they win a talent contest organized by the local country club without compromising their values. With the clout and influence that Disney network has, especially with children under 14; it is not surprising that the "High School Musical 2" has gone on to become such a huge hit. It has also developed a large adolescent fan following for the two lead actors of the movie, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. Surprisingly, Zac Efron does not get his songs dubbed in this sequel like he did in the previous movie. Rather he has sung all his songs himself.
This is a fantastic sequel with some superb music. However, the middle of the movie sees a dearth of songs as the focus shifts to moving the story ahead. It has the distinction of being the most-watched made-for-cable movie ever. It averaged 17.2 million viewers when it was first aired on 17 August. The first broadcast of the film broke records. It is interesting to note the fact that the movie was released when school was about to start up again, while the Online movie's plot involved the gang going on summer vacation. Ironic, but this fact did not come in the way of its success.

Get ready for a huge serving of Hannah Montana this coming fall. Fans can finally sing their favorite tunes with the upcoming album, which consists 16 songs, with and without lead vocals.
High School Musical 3: Will Zac Efron Be Bac
As early as now, fans and viewers alike are speculating about Zac Efron's return as the lead Troy Bolton in the phenomenal High School Musical 3, which begins filming in early 2008 for a release in early 2009. However, there hasn't been any finalized script yet, nor has the negotiations been set in writing.
Many believe that he doesn't need the final installment to increase his popularity, as he, unlike his HSM co-stars, already has his solo film, Hairspray, to be proud about. Aside from that, he also recently made it into the cover of Rolling Stone. How's that for launching his career?
It is likely that Efron will be returning to the Disney made-for-TV film. It wouldn't hurt if he did. In fact, it would only bring him more publicity and would also further his acting career. Besides, the 20-year-old actor is comfortable with his family friendly image. High School Musical 3 will only do him good if he decides to have that image for keeps.
Some are speculating that Efron may ask for as much as $5 million, but it would be likely that it would be less. Will Disney risk their franchise for a cheap replacement? I don't think so. However, the High School Musical tour comes to mind. If you could remember, the whole main ensemble was there, except for Efron. But still, fans were quick to make a dash for the tour, and it was a brilliant success. This only means that Efron isn’t exactly “the man.” The other Disney stars in the High School Musical franchise have made it uniquely their own, and they can make it good without Efron.
Nonetheless, if everything would go smoothly, then that means both Disney and Efron have come to a meeting point where both are satisfied.
It's too early to tell, and it will be up to Efron in the end to decide whether he will be there for the last hurrah.

High School Musical Star Soars To New Heights
High School Musical star Corbin Bleu has recently risen to a different level as he joined a number of teachers to literally go into weightlessness. Believing that science is fun and not just for geeks, the young star teamed up with The Northrop Grunman Foundation of Los Angeles to celebrate 50 years in space. As part of his participation, he joined the teachers as they lifted off the ground and conducted other experiments which were designed to test Newton's Laws of Motions.
The teachers, along with Bleu, were taken up in a plane where they experienced no gravity. The modified plane also allowed the other passengers to move around and conduct their experiments.
"You literally can spin around and flip and do anything, like push off the wall and go flying across the room like Superman," Blue explained to TVGuide later.
After their experience, the teachers went back to their classrooms, sharing their learnings and photos of the event with their students. The organizers of the event aimed to increase the interest in science among children, with the help of Corbin Bleu, a popular figure in that age bracket. Blue added that the organization approached him with this offer, as they believed that he was a good role model who could promote science and math to students.
In addition, TVGuide asked Blue for some tidbits on the upcoming High School Musical 3.
"It's really going to be nice to go back for one last hurrah and then just finish up the whole High School Musical phenomenon," he said.
Currently, there has been no script produced yet, but the basic idea will revolve around the students' senior year at East High.
Once the final High School Musical film is over, Bleu will be looking forward to pursuing other projects that will be different than what he has done before. His upcoming film, Metal Burning, is about a teenager who supports his family, subsequently developing an interest in Motocross. Bleu also aspires to become a producer aside from being an actor.

By watching these runners in action, the developers realized that the running shoe would need to allow for perfect posture with each step. Into the shoe they placed a double layer lining that would increase the cushioning so that it would be like running on sand. And with the curved sole, the body could reduce the shock on the joints and the nerves with each step.
