Ashley Tisdale's musical career is definitely in full swing. Another Disney-backed young pop talent who's appeared in productions such as the High School Musical film series and the television sitcom show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, she's currently on a public performance tour that's taking her from mall to mall across the country. Tisdale recently swung by the Southridge Mall located in Milwaukee, WI, where she was met by a horde of over 4,000 fans. Many of them had started to line up for more than 12 hours before the show was scheduled to kick off, just for a chance to watch her perform.
The crowd in Milwaukee was twice the size of the one she sang for in Chicago. During her performance, she opted not to do any High School Musical songs, but let them hear several tunes from her new debut album instead. Tisdale's session was fairly short, spanning only three songs and ten minutes, and she sang right outside the entrance of a JC Penney store. To her credit, she also sung live instead of lip syncing, as many of her young peers in the entertainment industry seem to do all too-often. The fans who got there the earliest had the chance to meet and greet Tisdale, with autographs being signed and photos being snapped for many of them.
Earlier in the day, the actress was also seen shopping in the Southridge Mall several hours before her performance was scheduled to start. A tipster called in to the Milwaukee Street Journal to let them know that Tisdale had the Victoria's Secret clothing store shut down so she could browse and make her purchases peacefully and in private, without being bothered by ogling fans. While a manager for the establishment admitted that she did buy from them, no more details were given out.
