The trailer is now circulating online and provides our first glimpse of what director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck has described as "incredible chemistry" between the two stars.
It's a bit difficult to assess that chemistry in the trailer, though; many of the scenes feature close-ups of an impossibly sultry Jolie, or Depp seeming confused and/or panic-stricken. Still, the notion of Edward Scissorhands and Lara Croft, together at last, is pretty intriguing.
