Rihanna and Katy Perry to play at Liverpool’s ECHO Arena next year

BEST buddies Rihanna and Katy Perry have announced they will be performing at the ECHO arena late next year.

Rihanna, who currently has three songs in the UK top 10, will play the venue as part of her highly awaited Loud tour on Friday, October 7, 2011.It will be the first chance for her city fans to see her perform singles What’s My Name? and platinum-selling Only Girl In The World.

Newlywed Katy has added a second Liverpool date to her California Dreams tour after the first quickly sold out.

The Firework singer visits the arena on Tuesday, October 18.

Tickets for Katy will go on sale on Friday at 9am, and at 9am on Saturday for Rihanna.
