The Fantastic Four star, who was accompanied by a friend on her shopping trip, also ensured she stayed cool by drinking an icy beverage as she explored the local stores.
And despite the heat, Jessica managed to muster up a smile for photographers as she left the shop.
The film, directed by Michael Winterbottom, has been criticised for its brutally realistic portrayal of domestic violence.
