Angie is saying that when the script was offered to her, she was pretty tired having done emotional stuffs in a series of films and was looking for something with its fare share of action and blitz.
“I was itching to do something that was physical because I had done some emotional fims and I had been at home with the kids. I didn’t know that there was anything original out there until I came across this script,” Jolie said.
So Wanted appeared at the right time, but she still had to make her mind. Then she heard that the producers have hired McAvoy for the film and since she was already a fan of the Scottish actor, she decided she would go for the film.
“Then I heard they were casting James McAvoy and I thought, ‘That sounds really unusual.’ Everyone thinks of him as this sweet, fun guy – which he is – but he’s also from Scotland, and that’s a tough place,” the Salt actress said.
