StyleList got the details on how to create Emma Roberts‘ hairstyles fromthe star’s longtime personal hair stylist, Tami Jensen of Malibu’s Privé Salon. Here’s my fave, but make sure to check them all out!
Emma asked for a flirtatiously fun hair style to play up her prim-meets-sexy buttoned-up Marc Jacobs dress. “The low ponytail is perfect for a relaxed, yet sophisticated look, and face-framing fringe is a great way to play up the femininity of the style,” says Jensen.Spray a root lifter like Privé’s Root Amplifier and a texture spray to give strands both texture and controlled messiness. Then either blowout hair with a big round brush or use a big barrel curling iron, whichever you find easier.
Pull hair back into a pony at the nape of the neck, letting pieces fall and leaving the fringe out. Finish by twisting around the very top of the ponytail, and securing with bobby pins.
