I guess Snoop is a True Blood fan! Snoop’s track ‘Oh Sookie” pays homage to the show and specifically Anna Paquin’s Sookie, the series’ central character on the HBO drama that just started its third season (check out our review of last week’s the season premiere). Not sure if Moyer has anything on the Dogfather, who has been in the game since Dre unveiled ‘Deep Cover’ (one of the hardest beats ever) and propelled Snoop to become one of the most anticipated acts ever after Snoop’s appearances on tracks on the all-time the classic Chronic album. I’m sure Snoop will be tuned in on June 20th for the next episode of True Blood, ‘Beautifully Broken’, which we posted a promo of earlier in the week.
Snoop’s recently been hanging with Katy Perry, being featured on the the song/video of her latest single – and first off of her upcoming Teenage Dreams – ‘California Gurls’. The duo performed the song on the recent MTV Movie Awards, and the official music video followed just days later.
