Speculation started earlier this week (begs07Feb11) that the Crazy In Love hitmaker would be one of the big acts to play to thousands of music fans at the annual event after her pal Chris Martin's band Coldplay announced its slot.
Beyonce watched from the side of the stage at the 2008 Glastonbury as her rapper husband thrilled the crowd with a storming show following huge criticism over a hip-hop act headlining the traditionally rock-oriented event.
It is also rumoured British rockers The Libertines will follow up their comeback gig at last year's (10) Reading and Leeds festivals with an appearance at this year's (11) Glastonbury, which takes place in Somerset, England.
