It’s never going to end. That is, casting for Garry Marshall’s romantic comedy NEW YEAR’S EVE will never end. Today we learn that MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE star Frankie Muniz and Sara Paxton have joined the humongous cast that includes: Alyssa Milano, Katherine Heigl, Sienna Miller, Zac Efron, Lea Michele, Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank, Abigail Breslin, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sofia Vergara, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Ice Cube and Ryan Seacrest. Shooting should have already begun.See, now I’m starting to question this film. It seems with all of these characters the story line becomes more and more diluted. I’m feeling pretty sure Marshall didn’t have half as many people lined up for VALENTINE’S DAY and let’s be honest in saying that the plot there was a little thin. Maybe some of these are more along the lines of cameos as opposed to actual parts, except for Ryan Seacrest- please don’t give him more lines than he can handle.
