Katy Perry 2011's Eighth Most Desirable Woman

Katy Perry has found herself in the top 10 of AskMen.com's annual list of the Most Desirable Women. The list is a who's who of today's top female celebs and includes country star Taylor Swift, actress Mila Kunis and Beyoncé Knowles.

This year the "California Gurls" star jumped from number 36 to number eight, propelled by the massive success of her current release Teenage Dream. According to the site, Katy's resume in 2010 is enough to put her in the top 10 alone.
"Perry's sophomore album, Teenage Dream, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and produced three colossal hits, including the inescapable Snoop Dogg-fueled summer anthem 'California Gurls,'" they write.

"Her banner year continued as she married British rapscallion Russell Brand, became the second most-searched artist online (after Justin Bieber -- it's hard to compete with a teenage heartthrob) and earned four Grammy nominations, including an unexpected one for Album of The Year."

Gossip Girl's Blake Lively took the top spot this year, followed by Kunis at number two and Sofia Vergara, star of ABC's Modern Family, at number three.
