Movie bosses are currently in talks to bring the Nirvana frontman's life story to cinemas with the help of his widow, Love, who will act as an adviser on the project, reports imdb.com.
Love has been talking about the film in recent weeks, announcing she would like to see either Ryan Gosling or James McAvoy to play her late husband and she's named Johansson as her favourite to play herself in the movie.
"I know that there is a script. That's as much as I know about it. I'm a big fan of Courtney's, and I think she's very, very talented. But I don't know anything about the project. I think the idea is interesting and intriguing, but I would have to really wrap my head around it," she said.
