Megan Fox Receives Apology from Mickey Rourke

Megan Fox heads to Marmalade Cafe with a gal pal on Tuesday (April 11) at The Grove in Los Angeles.

Mickey Rourke, who worked with the 24-year-old actress in Passion Play, recently apologized for bashing the film and smirking when talking about Megan.
“When I talked to you, I was at a party. It was loud and crowded, I was in a sh-tty mood and I was trying to get rid of your reporter,” he told NY Mag.

“[Passion Play director] Mitch [Glazer] is one of my best friends since we were kids. I loved working with him and would do it again tomorrow. I don’t know why I said that stupid sh-t. I love Mitch, I love Megan. My bad,” Mickey added.

Megan Fox Steps Out Looking Softer & Plastic Surgery Free

When Megan Fox first burst onto the scene, everyone was calling her the next Angelina Jolie. She must have taken that to heart because she consistently pulled out super femme fatale beauty looks like the one she wore to the LA premiere of her film, Jonah Hex on June 17. She looked harsh with her dark retro waves and engorged, pursed lips. Something just looked so plastic about her.
A Beverly Hills plastic surgeon told us at HollywoodLife.com that yes, it did appear she’d had Botox and, “a lot of it… Around her eyes and near her eyebrows… it’s maing her look waxy. She has that frozen look from Botox.” It doesn’t help that plastic surgeons also believe she’d engorged her lips further with fillers and that her cheeks have been “enhanced maybe with a filler like Radiesse, Juvederm, or Restylane,” says Dr. Bruce Katz of NYC’s Juvaskin and Laser Center.

That’s why it was so great to see Megan looking youthful and pretty at The 50th Anniversary Of The Jaguar E-Type in NYC April 21. The newlywed looked positively radiant. What do you think of Megan’s makeover? Do you like it as much as we do or do you prefer her more severe look?

Megan Fox's Sisterly Cafe Afternoon

Fresh off of a weekend at the 37th annual Long Beach Grand Prix pro/celebrity race, Megan Fox was spotted spending a little quality time with her sister in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 19).

The "Jennifer's Body" babe donned a blue sleeveless top with white trousers as she chatted it up with her wholly jeaned sibling upon exiting the Marmalade Cafe at The Grove shopping center.
On the career front, Miss Fox is currently working on "The Crossing," which is a crime/thriller about "a young couple getting caught up in a drug trafficking scheme during their vacation to Mexico."

She's also set to join Leslie Mann, Albert Brooks and Paul Rudd in a yet-to-be-titled film spearheaded by "Pineapple Express" producer Judd Apatow.

Rourke dislikes Fox movie

Mickey Rourke has shrugged off bad reviews of his latest movie Passion Play, conceding the film was given a limited release because "it's not very good".

The Wrestler star appears alongside Megan Fox playing a musician who saves a winged circus freak from a mob boss.
The movie was savaged by critics after it premiered at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival and initial reports suggested it would go straight to DVD. It will be given a limited run in a small number of U.S. theatres next month, but Rourke insists he is not bothered by the movie's lack of success.

He tells New York Magazine's Vulture column, "Terrible. Another terrible movie. But, you know, in your career and all the movies you make, you're going to make dozens of terrible ones."

And when asked why the film is being given such a limited release, he replies, "That's because it's not very good."

Megan Fox slips into Daisy Dukes

Doting wife Megan Fox was all smiles as she watched husband Brian Austin Green compete in the Long Beach Grand Prix Celebrity Pro Race today in Southern California.

Casually dressed in a green t-shirt and tattered, cut-off shorts, Megan tried to blend in, but stood out the rest of the crowd with her flowing hair, svelte figure and high heeled sandals.
A few minutes later she was spotted chatting with other excited fans, as they watched the competition race into action.

Brian, who recently appeared on several episodes of Desperate Housewives, is an avid racer and last year finished third place competition.

Megan's weekend at the track comes after she received an apology from her Passion Play co-star Mickey Rourke earlier this week.

Megan Fox's Long Beach Grand Prix Weekend

Spending the weekend supporting her man, Megan Fox was out watching Brian Austin Green compete in the 37th annual Long Beach Grand Prix pro/celebrity race on Saturday afternoon (April 16).
The "Jennifer's Body" beauty looked fabulous as she grabbed a comfortable perch at the race grounds while hoping to see her "Beverly Hills 90210" actor husband improve from his third place finish the previous year.

The weekend at the track comes after Miss Fox received an apology from "Passion Play" co-star Mickey Rourke over comments criticizing her talents and their movie together,

Rourke told Vulture of his derisive remarks, "When I talked to you, I was at a party. It was loud and crowded, I was in a sh**ty mood and I was trying to get rid of your reporter. Mitch [Glazer, 'Passion Play' director] is one of my best friends since we were kids. I loved working with him and would do it again tomorrow."

He continued, "I don't know why I said that stupid sh*t. I love Mitch, I love Megan. My bad."

Megan Fox wows at the Jaguar Party

Since getting hitched Megan Fox has been spotted wearing slouchy jogging bottoms and scruffy tees. A crime when you see what she’s got hidden underneath!
The Jennifer’s Body star showed up at the Jaguar party wearing a fresh mint green frock which accentuated her slim curves beautifully. Some ankle strap Brian Atwood heels and pink hued make up finished the look.

Megan Fox Looks Fab, Apparently

As long as I or Megan Fox lives, we’ll likely never understand Hollywood.
Because, if you’ll recall, not so long ago concerns were being thrown around about Megan’s weight and whether she was under undue pressure or not.

And now, everyone is raving about how fabulous her body is.

Right.

In her latest shoot, everyone raves about how great she looks in green.

No one mentioned how she didn’t smile once.

So maybe she’s not as happy as her body looks great.

Knocked Up spin-off to triumph with Megan Fox?

Comedy writer and director Judd Apatow has been working on the highly-anticipated sequel to his 2007 rom-com Knocked Up for quite some time now, and while it looks like Katherine Heigl won’t return for a second helping, is The Fox enough to make it another box office smasher?
‘Coming Soon’ recently revealed that the currently untitled project is set to be called ‘This is Forty’ and will focus on the married life of Heigl’s onscreen sister ‘Debbie’. Apatow’s real-life wife Leslie Mann will reprise this role, along with Dinner for Schmucks actor Paul Rudd.

While the pair are eager to reteam for the comedy follow-up, the real Knocked Up stars Heigl and Seth Rogen have yet to be linked with the Universal Pictures spin-off. But one casting choice which I’m sure will please many is that of Megan Fox. The ex-Transformers beauty is most definitely onboard for film, which will begin shooting in June and set for a June 2012 release.

Megan Fox impressed Judd Apatow, says Brian Austin Green

HollywoodNews.com: It was recently rumored that Megan Fox is going to be a part of Judd Apatow’s ‘Knocked Up’ spin-off film and it seems that the two are definitely on board together.
Fox’s husband, Brian Austin Green, has confirmed the rumors, saying that the two hit it off right away, states Extra. “She met with Judd Apatow and from what I heard, they got along smashingly well,” Green revealed.

Green also revealed that Fox is ready and excited to get going for filming that will allegedly start in June.

Dress your age mom! Ashley Tisdale's mother Lisa copies her daughter's style

Ashley Tisdale may have no need for a stylist - but her mother Lisa may be in need of a few pointers.

As the High School Musical star did a little shopping in New York today she was accompanied by 54-year-old Lisa, whose outfit almost exactly mirrored that of her 25-year-old daughter.

Ashley wore a black mini dress with a large gold necklace handcrafted by Miriam Haskell over the top and oversize sunglasses as the mother and daughter enjoyed the designer shops and sunshine.

Her mother was equally stylish in a black leather version of the minidress, which like Ashley she teamed with a statement necklace and aviator sunglasses.

While Ashley stepped out in fierce black ankle boots, her mother stuck to sandals, but ensured they stood out with a leopard print.

Ashley Tisdale Was Happy To Step Back Into 'HSM' Shoes

It seems like forever since we've talked about anything "High School Musical"-oriented around here. Not that we've had reason to, well, except for this. Lucky for us, we have Ashley Tisdale's just-released "HSM" spin-off "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" to discuss, along with a few words from the lady herself.
When I caught up with Ashley recently, I asked her what made her want to step back into Sharpay's often-sparkly shoes, and whether she's missed playing the character.

"After the first ['High School Musical'] movie it was really funny I remember, because we didn't know if we were going to do a second movie, we had no idea what was going to happen with the first movie," she said of Disney's mega-hit.

When I caught up with Ashley recently, I asked her what made her want to step back into "I remember taking her shoes off, I was like, 'I'm really going to miss this character,' I had so much fun," she recalled. "Especially because I was playing a character on 'The Suite Life of Zach and Cody' that was always in uniform and I felt that I got to redeem myself with all the clothes I got to wear."

So what made her want to revisit Sharpay in this fourth, "HSM"-related flick?

"Coming back into it for a fourth time, she is a character I am so lucky to have," Ashley said, adding that the opportunity to play this "larger-than-life" persona was an opportunity given to her, in large part, thanks to fan support.

"I owe it to them that I'm here," she said. "So I felt like coming back for this movie and making sure [Sharpay] had a great ending, there was not even a question about it. I was so into it."

"Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" revolves around fan favorite and forever-spoiled Sharpay and her pie-in-the-sky dream of moving to New York City to star in a Broadway show. Unfortunately for Sharpay, when she makes the move her dog lands the onstage gig, and Sharpay is faced with the very new dilemma of not having things handed to her, so she has to work to prove herself. It is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Ashley Tisdale Lives "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure"

f you enjoy the now brunette Ashley Tisdale on TV’s “Hellcats” you’ll still probably remember her blonde “High School Musical” character Sharpay Evans. Sharpay was the gal students loved to hate; that snobby, rich, rule-the-school bee-otch who can get on your nerves like fingernails clawing a blackboard. Well, get ready because Sharpay is back in her own movie Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure out on DVD and Blu-Ray on April 19th.

Story goes: Sharpay is given a month to prove herself on stage in New York or her dad will doom her to working back in Albuquerque at his country club. Ambitious Sharpay has already landed an audition for a new Broadway show but, on arriving, learns that it is her cute dog Boi the Big Apple producers want! We’re on the cell with Ashley talking about her return to the character, her successful production company, her cute co-star Austin Butler who plays Sharpay’s love interest and more.

TeenHollywood: Was it easy to just become Sharpay again after a break from the character?

Ashley Tisdale: It was much harder this time because I was not surrounded by all the characters that I’m used to. It was a whole new cast. That was definitely a little different to get into. I was used to having Zac and Vanessa playing Troy and Gabriella. It was a little nerve-wracking because I felt a lot like Sharpay does in the movie; like I was out there on my own with a whole new cast.

TeenHollywood: I thought you did a great job of making Sharpay more vulnerable and human in this film than in the HSM movies. Was that a conscious decision on your part?

Alec Mapa and Ashley Tisdale keep each other in stitches

When you bring Fil-Am comedian Alec Mapa (“Ugly Betty”) and singer-actress Ashley Tisdale (“High School Musical”) together, it’s hard to keep a straight face.

The combination of the two somehow creates giggles and guffaws on the set.

“I love Alec Mapa!” revealed Ashley Tisdale, who is well-known for her portrayal of Sharpay Evans, the high school drama queen in the “High School Musical” franchise.

“He is insane,” Ashley disclosed. “He is so funny. During our serious moments, I just couldn’t keep a straight face because he always makes me laugh. It was so amazing working with him.”

Ashley, who is reprising her popular character in the Disney Channel original TV movie, “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure,” couldn’t contain her excitement as she talked about Alec, who portrays Gill Samms, the stressed out director of the Broadway show, in the said TV movie which will premiere on May 28 and will be out on DVD in the Philippines on Aug. 2.Alec, who is well known for his TV roles in “Ugly Betty” and “Desperate Housewives,” has also appeared on the big screen in “Marley & Me,” “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” and “Tru Loved.” On Broadway, Alec is well known for his portrayal of “M. Butterfly.”

“What Ashley failed to mention was that she would always laugh during my most serious scene,” Alec disclosed. “Without giving too much away, there’s a scene where I become very upset with her character, Sharpay, and I kind of had to get in her face. When you watch the movie, just know that before, during and after that very grave moment was shot, we had all been working for about 11 hours already and were pretty punch drunk and giggly. As soon as they yelled cut, we would all burst out laughing.”

Born in San Francisco, California, the 45-year-old actor revealed to us what attracted him to the role. “I was brought into the project by the director Michael Lembeck,” he said. “We had previously worked together on a film called ‘Connie and Carla’ and it had been such a fun experience. I would’ve jumped at any opportunity to work with him again. This movie and role held that opportunity. I jumped.”

Alec shared with us how it was working with Ashley who was wearing two hats for this project – as an actress and as an executive producer. “I always knew that Ashley was talented, but I wasn’t aware of how very hard she works,” Alec pointed out. “She was an absolute professional and always had a very positive attitude, which is important because the lead actor always sets the tone for the entire set.”

Ashley Tisdale Plays VIP Host for Sharpay

Ashley Tisdale joined High School Musical mates Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens in West Hollywood for a special VIP reception for the release of the new Tisdale movie Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, which debuts on Blu-ray April 19. On a break from The CW series Hellcats, Ashley Tisdale found time to revisit her High School Musical character, Sharpay Evans, for the fish-out-of-water tale about a small town Diva and her dog’s adventures in New York City.

For the West Hollywood event, Ashley Tisdale was also joined by a slew of young stars from the Sharpay film and Hellcats, including actors Austin Butler, Cameron Goodman, Alec Mapa, Jack Plotnick, and Lucas Grabeel, who all star with Tisdale in Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, and Heather Hemmens, Alyson Michalka, Robbie Jones and Emma Lahana who work with Ashley on the popular CW series. On April 19, 2011, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will be proudly unveiling Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, an all-new movie on Blu-ray and DVD staring Ashley Tisdale reprising her role as Disney Channel’s global sensation “High School Musical” drama queen character Sharpay Evans.

On Broadway, Alec is recognized for his portrayal of “M. Butterfly."

Misadventures of Sharpay

Also starring Austin Butler (“JONAS") and Cameron Goodman (“Mad Men" and “NCIS"), the Michael Lembeck (“The Santa Clause 2")-helmed television movie tells of the misadventures of Sharpay as she travels to New York to pursue a Broadway career but instead realizes that it’s her dog, Boi, who gets the role and not her.

Portraying her perky Yorkshire terrier, Boi, are two newcomer dogs who were trained for the role — newbies Howie and Herbie. “They are a lot of fun and they are really great," Ashley said. “They are brand new. They have not done a movie before. It’s definitely harder to work with them because they are very rambunctious. But they were fun!"

For this television movie, Ashley also wears “two hats" — as an actor and as an executive producer.

“It was really challenging to be wearing two hats," she admitted. “It was a big learning experience for me. In 2008, I put up my own production company, Blondie Girl Productions, and I have been developing TV series, reality series, and movies."

“It is so crazy because as the lead actor, you have to be in the moment. As an executive producer, you have to step out of the moment. As an actress, I wear my diva hat. Then as an executive producer, I wear by big decisions hat," Ashley continued.

Ashley Tisdale Tells Rachael Ray About 'Hellcats' Stunts

Ashley Tisdale plays a cheerleader on CW's 'Hellcats,' which sometimes requires her to risk breaking a bone or two. On today's 'Rachael Ray' (weekdays, syndicated), Tisdale talked about doing some of her stunts, even if it scares both her and her producers.

Tisdale said she does have a double, but she tried to do as much as she can because she likes "to give it one hundred percent." One "Flying V" she did midseason did give her a bit of a fright. "It was pretty crazy," said Tisdale. "A base just through me up in the air, caught me by my feet, and then even pushed me up on one leg and I had my arms up. It was the scariest thing I've ever done."Ray asked if Tisdale knew how many things she could break by doing that. Tisdale said she knew, and that her producers "were freaking out as well."

Ashley Tisdale’s Favorite Jacket

Ashley Tisdale is one of Hollywood’s young and beautiful newcomers, but the actress appears down to Earth as well, rocking what seems to be a favorite jacket, more than once.

It’s sometimes rare to see celebrities in the same outfit twice, but Tisdale’s plum colored pea coat has followed her from the streets of New York City to the airport in Toronto.

Whether she’s in the Big Apple or the Great White North, she can’t go wrong when covered up in this.

Ashley Tisdale’s Show “Miss Advised” Gets Picked Up By Bravo

Ashley Tisdale’s show “Miss Advised” from her production company Blondie Girl Products has been picked up by Bravo. Ashley Tweeted the following about the good news:

Ashley Tisdale Forced to Wait For Birkin Bag

Ashley Tisdale has finally arrived! After anxiously waiting for 2 years, she has received her Hermès Birkin bag.

Ashley Tweeted a pic with the caption reading: “After two years of waiting the New York Hermes store came through!! Aaahhh!!”

2 years is a long time, but it’s not that bad considering the fact that there is a 6-year wait list for the bag– the longest wait for any bag in history.

Every time I hear a story about a Birkin bag; I automatically remember the episode from Sex and the City when Samantha used her client Lucy Liu to get herself a Birkin. Basically, this bag is extremely hard to get. The only way you will be able to get one is if you are extremely lucky and they have it at the store because they no longer take special orders from regular folks.

So why is this handbag so special? The Birkin bag is a handmade purse by Hermès and named after actress and singer Jane Birkin. The bag is a symbol of wealth due to its high price and elusiveness to the public.

Depending on the material of the bag, prices range from $9,000 to $150,000.

Ashley Tisdale Goes On Jay Leno

Ashley Tisdale has a lot to promote right now with her new movie and new episodes of Hellcats returning. They talked about her love of junk food, hair and playing a cheerleader. You will find both videos at the bottom of this post.

I am glad to see that she is doing her rounds of press for the movie. I feel like Disney has missed the boat on this one, so it nice to see that Ashley is putting her half in it. I do think they perhaps Disney should still be doing more, though. It should not be all on Ashley for the success of it.What do you think about Ashley’s interview? Do you think that Disney should try to do more for Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure or should it stay all on Ashley’s back? I think that all parties that are involved should pull their half of the weight. Otherwise if it does flop, Disney will have a big part in it failing.

Avril Lavigne looks bored to death

She was either exhausted or perhaps just not in the mood.

But whatever the case, Avril Lavinge looked stiff and bored as her boyfriend Brody Jenner leaned in for a kiss with the 26-year-old Canadian singer.

Staring at the ceiling, the pop rock singer was anything but interested in getting affectionate with the 27-year-old former Hill's star at Boa Steakhouse last night. The couple were enjoying a low-key dinner at the eatery when Brody attempted to tenderly kiss her on the lips.

The pale blonde laid slumped in her chair as he literally tried to initiate a romantic moment, to no avail. Both pair were dressed down for their Sunday night out.
Avril slipped on a black and white oversized t-shirt and wore her hair in a low-key pony tail, while Brody was comfortable in a checked flannel shirt and his customary backwards baseball cap.

Avril and Brody have been dating since February last year, and have since been enjoying a whirlwind romance. They have been spotted loved-up all over L.A. and professiong their love for each other with numerous tattoos.
Not interested? The pale blonde laid slumped in her chair as Brody tried to initiate a romantic moment. In April last year Avril got lightning bolt to match Brody's tattoo under his ear.

The couple then garnered media attention in May 2010, after receiving matching tattoos of the word "f***" on their ribs.

In July, Brody had 'Avril' etched on his forearm and Avril had 'Brody' under her right breast. Avril recently returned home from a five week tour in Paris, London, Italy, Hong Kong, and Japan. She is promoting her new album Goodbye Lullaby which was released in the US on March 2nd. Her boyfriend Brody Jenner also tagged along for some of the ride.

Avril Lavigne concert set

CANADIAN pop-punk singer Avril Lavigne will perform in Shanghai on May 2 at Shanghai Grand Stage.

Tickets for the Shanghai concert will cost from 180 yuan (US$28) to 1,280 yuan.

Earlier this year, Lavigne released her fourth album "Goodbye Lullaby" that features the lead single "What the Hell." She is expected to sing the hit tune along with other favorites such as "Complicated," "I'm With You," "My Happy Ending" and "Girlfriend."
By 2009, Lavigne had sold 16 million albums worldwide. Her success has continued with "Goodbye Lullaby," which has reached top 10 lists in both the United States and the United Kingdom. It was also her third No. 1 album in both Japan and Australia.

The 27-year-old singer has said in the past that she likes rock music because it's radical and fun, but now that she's a little older, she hopes "Goodbye Lullaby" will show her mature side.

The album took more than 2 1/2 years to complete and its release date had been pushed back several times. "I write my own music and therefore it takes longer because I have to live my life to get inspiration," Lavigne told the Kingston Herald newspaper in Canada last August.

"I know my fans look up to me and that's why I make my songs so personal; it's all about things I've experienced and things I like or hate. I write for myself and hope that my fans like what I have to say," Lavigne once told the website Girl.com.au.

Sheryl and Stevie duet on "Landslide," Salt 'n Pepa perform a medley of their hits including "Whatta Man" and "Shoop," and everyone joins in an all-star finale version of "We Are Family," led by the song's original artist, Sister Sledge.Meanwhile, Avril has announced that she's starting her Goodbye, Lullaby tour in Beijing, China on April 30th. So far, she's only announced Asian dates: in addition to China, her website says she's also performing in South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia and Taiwan, while Pollstar.com reports she's got additional shows booked in Japan in May.

No word yet on when Avril's tour will get to North America, but she says that it'll be different from her last one. She explains, "It'll most likely be a little more intimate. I'll rock out and have a good time with the band, but I want to also kinda strip it down a little more." In order to reflect the more mellow and personal nature of her Goodbye, Lullaby album, Avril says, "I'll probably play a lot more piano and have some acoustic breakdowns and do some fun stuff that way. I really want it to be all about the music and the vocal performance."

Avril and Miley Rock Out With Pat Benatar and Joan Jett on ‘Oprah’

Avril Lavigne and Miley Cyrus paid tribute to their musical heroes when they performed alongside Pat Benatar and Joan Jett, respectively, on Wednesday’s edition of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show.’

In the episode, which was centered on influential women in music, Avril joined Benatar for a performance of the latter’s classic hit ‘Love Is a Battlefield.’ Immediately afterwards, Avril told Winfrey that sharing the stage with Benatar was a “huge” highlight of her career. “It’s the biggest honor ever,” said the pop-punk singer. “This is such a moment for me to remember.”Earlier in the show, Miley traded verses with Jett on a medley of the veteran rocker’s hits from her solo career and her days in the Runaways. Miley was also blown away by the chance to rock out with Jett. “It’s amazing,” explained Miley. “It’s always meant something to me just seeing Joan stand up for chicks who want to pick up the guitar.”

The episode also featured performances by Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks (with Sheryl Crow), hip-hop pioneers Salt-N-Pepa and R&B group Sister Sledge.

Avril Lavigne Faces The Battlefield With Pat Benatar On Oprah

Oprah Winfrey invited a slew of rocking ladies, past and present, to perform together on the show. So far, we've heard from Stevie Nicks and Sheryl Crow and from Miley Cyrus and Joan Jett. Closing out the day is a flawless performance of Love Is A Battlefield from Pat Benatar and a very nervous Avril Lavigne!

She's so shell-shocked, she can't even bear to look at Pat - who, BTW, looks phenomenal!

Check out their performance (above).

So, now that you've seen them all, which was UR fave rocking due

Avril Lavigne scared of big new home

Avril Lavigne fears her sprawling gothic mansion in Los Angeles is too big for her - because it's too scary at night to wander from room to room. The Sk8ter Boi hitmaker has become an unlikely Bel Air resident after purchasing a new mansion last year and she admits she has turned the place into a "medieval gothic castle, European-style".

She tells Rolling Stone magazine, "(There are) chandeliers and red velvet curtains. My bedroom is pink and black, my bathroom is totally Hello Kitty, I have a massive pink couch and a big antique gold cross."

But when darkness falls and she's all alone, she admits the property can get a little scary:

She adds, "I'm not gonna lie, it's 12,000 square feet. It's so big it scares me."

Avril Lavigne's New Album Not About Her Divorce

Avril Lavigne has set the record straight when it comes to her latest album.

The pop-punk singer released her latest CD Goodbye Lullaby last month and some fans believe the songs were written about her divorce from former husband Deryck Whibley. But Avril, who worked closely with her ex on the record, denies the album was inspired by the end of their romance.

"I wouldn't say it's a break-up record, it's about life," Lavigne told Rolling Stone. "I went into it with a mindset of not trying to write hits.

"People will make assumptions, but they'd be surprised what certain songs are about."

Avril recently revealed that Deryck is still her best friend despite their break-up. She also added that her brother and sister laughed at her singing before she became famous.
