We don't normally celebrate wedding anniversaries around these parts, but today represents a very special day for one of pop culture's coolest power couples. On this day in 2009, Fergie and Josh Duhamel exchanged vows at a ceremony at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu, California, binding them as husband and wife. Fergie (born Stacy Ann Ferguson) first met her husband in the fall of 2004 when the Black Eyed Peas appeared on an episode of the underrated NBC series "Las Vegas," which counted Duhamel as one of its primary stars. The two struck up a relationship that lead to their wedding. The event itself was a lovely affair, with Fergie in a Dolce & Gabbana dress surrounded by celebrity guests like Kid Rock, Kate Hudson, Mario Lopez, Jerry O'Connell, James Caan (Duhamel's co-star on "Las Vegas") and the other members of the Black Eyed Peas.
Since then, they remain happily married and have been able to balance their private life with their respective careers. Fergie spent the rest of 2009 supporting The E.N.D., the Black Eyed Peas' massive chart-blasting album, which was supported by a huge tour. Meanwhile, Duhamel has headlined movies like "When In Rome," "Life as We Know It" and the "Transformers" franchise.
One of the stars who attended Fergie's wedding was Slash, who has long counted the singer as one of the finest voices in rock. In fact, he was so enamored of her talents that he tapped her to perform vocals on "Beautiful Dangerous," one of the splashier tunes from Slash's 2010 solo album.
