Anna Paquin's 'True Blood' to Get Film Treatment

"True Blood", the HBO hit series starring Anna Paquin, is reportedly going to be adopted onto the big screen. Whats Playing has recently brought up report that since the vampire drama revolving around Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton have become a phenomenon, the network is putting into consideration of making a movie out of it.
While the big screen treatment is claimed to be on HBO's top priorities, they won't rush into developing one too quick. The site teased that a movie won't come out before one or more two seasons of the Alexander Skarsgard-starred series playing on small screen. A source added that series own creator Alan Ball might have the "chance" to direct should the project is being picked up for real.

On another "True Blood" news, Todd Lowe who tackles the role of Terry Bellefleur has shared his thoughts about what other supernatural creatures should be presented on the next season of the series. Met by MTV News recently, the 33-year-old actor opened up that it would be fun and entertaining to see witches on the show.
