High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale hosted the Xbox Kinect Event on Saturday October 23 in Beverly Hills. The event was a launch party for Kinect for Xbox 360, which has been creating a lot of buzz in the video game universe. Kinect is a new full-body motion sensor that allows play without the use of a remote. Before the event, an excited Tisdale tweeted to her fans: “Gettin on my flight to LA!!! Looking forward to hosting @Xbox party tomorrow night in Hollywood! Can’t wait 2 try out #Kinect!”
In addition to Tisdale, several other celebs attended the event, including Garcelle Beauvais, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Jennifer Grey, Chris Massey, Jason Ritter, Sarah Chalke and soccer star David Beckham, who brought his three young sons, Cruz, Brooklyn and Romeo. Tisdale is going to be pretty busy throughout the next year or two. In addition to being a regular on the CW series Hellcats, she’s got four film projects lined up. They include High Stakes, Wish Wizard, High School Musical 4: East Meets West and Holly, Jingles and Clyde 3D .
The young actress and singer’s production company signed a multiyear production deal with Relativity Media earlier this year to create, develop and executive produce a series and also a Bravo TV reality show titled Miss Advised.
