We've been hearing about Basic Instinct for months, as Ciara has teased fans with singles, videos, guest appearances and promotional shots. But what we haven't heard is when the album will actually hit stores and online retailers.
So, we want to know: When is Ciara releasing her comeback Basic Instinct?! The singer called Connecticut's Hot 93.7's Jenny Boom Boom to reveal that it will be coming out this fall, but she failed to mention a specific drop date.
"November is definitely the month," Ciara said. "As soon as I do know [the date], I'll post it up on my Twitter. But, I don't want to give a day yet and [have] it be wrong."While she was on the phone with Jenny, the singer cleared up rumors that this album is more sensual than Fantasy Ride. By all accounts, including from the album's producer The Dream, Basic Instinct is really a return to classic CiCi.
"It's a combination of fun, bright, party, sexy, confident, bossy, energetic. It's everything all in one," Ciara said. "I do feel like my fans, with this album, they're gonna really be satisfied."
