The ‘Black Swan’ actress is in talks to Theodorah, the woman who ends up as the Wicked Witch of the West in the Disney movie, which is based on Frank L Baum’s story.
Mila met with director Sam Raimi and actor James Franco – who is set to appear as the Wizard of Oz’ – and all agreed she would be perfect for the role as Dorothy’s nemesis.
David Lindsay-Abaire has written the script, which is based on unscrupulous showman on the run from an angry husband after romancing the man’s wife.
He then battles Evanorah - who is destined to become the Wicked Witch of the East – and then there is nasty accident when Dorothy’s Kansas farmhouse lands in Oz.
Filming is set to begin in July.
