Mila Kunis says she doesn't want to be a 'one-trick pony'

Mila Kunis made many Oscar best-dressed lists in her lavender Elie Saab lace gown. The actress told OnTheRedCarpet.com that she doesn't want to be a "one-trick pony" in her career.

Kunis, who was born in Soviet-era Ukraine, proved that she has wide range in her acting with this year's Oscar-nominated ballerina thriller, "Black Swan." The movie was a darker turn for Kunis and her co-star Natalie Portman, who took home the Best Actress Oscar on Sunday.
"I don't ever want to be a one-trick pony," Kunis told OnTheRedCarpet.com of her dramatic turn. "I think everyone's capable of doing anything, they just need someone to give them the opportunity to do it."

The actress got her start appearing as the sometimes obnoxious character Jackie in the long-running comedy "That 70's Show." She also made audiences laugh in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and as the voice of Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom "Family Guy."

The actress returns to the comedy genre with her upcoming romantic comedy, "Friends with Benefits," which is set for release on July 22, 2011. But the actress isn't going to necessarily stick with comedy in the future. "You look for work that inspires you and that you gravitate towards," Kunis said on Sunday's Oscars red carpet. "You know, you just want to do good work."

Kunis, who is 5' 3", had to slim down to 95 pounds for the role. She told KABC Television, OnTheRedCarpet.com's parent company, that it took her five months to lose 20 pounds and five days to gain it back. The 27-year-old actress said the first thing she ate when she finished filming was Chinese food from the airport. When she got home, she ate an "Animal Style, double-double cheeseburger" from popular fast-food chain In-N-Out.

Kunis and Macaulay Culkin, a former child actor who rose to fame with the "Home Alone" comedy films, recently broke up after an eight-year relationship.

Kunis' five-time Oscar-nominated thriller "Black Swan" will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 29th from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
