Tila Tequila’s new music video ‘Walking on Thin Ice’ is about to premiere on MTV, so on Wednesday, she spoke with RadarOnline.com about the subject of the song -- domestic violence.
“This song wasn’t easy for me to record because it was during a time when my life was complicated and I was emotionally drained,” she told the online tabloid.

The new single is from Tequila’s 2010 EP, ‘Welcome to the Darkside.’
“The video was created in a way where the woman isn’t just a victim, she is also a survivor,” Tequila, 29, said. “I want women to see that you can get out of abusive relationships and hopefully do it before something horrible happens to you or your partner.”
She also noted that the video does not “glorify abuse,” but instead promotes “change and strength.”
According to Radar, Tequila’s video for ‘Walking on Thin Ice’ is slated to air Thursday, Mar. 10.
