Ciara at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards

The singer Ciara looked amazing last night on the red carpet for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. She's getting kudos from fashiob loggers everywhere for her daring Givenchy gown.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards were broadcast live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Calif. on September 12. Chelsea Handler was the first woman to host the ceremony since Roseanne Barr in 1994. The show featured live performances from Taylor Swift, Kanye West (who closed the show), Niki Minaj, Drake, Usher, Trey Songz, B.o.B., Justin Bieber, Linkin Park, Paramore, Florence + the Machine, and a surprise performance by Rihanna, who joined Eminem on stage for the opening number. Highlights from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards included Kanye West's return performance of "Runaway," and Eminem's surprise duet with Rihanna. While Justin Bieber walked away with the Best New Artist Award, it was clearly Lady Gaga's night. By the end of the night, she was hauling around no less than eight Moonmen statues.
