Recently, rumors of beef between singers Ciara and Keri Hilson have been floating around, and just last month, the two were scheduled to be on the same stage (not at the same time) at a concert in New York. Supposedly when Ciara heard that her rival was going to be there, she pulled out.
Ciara brought up the rumor recently when speaking to TheBoomBox.com. She told the publication she doesn’t have time for beef.
“In reference to the Keri situation, I’m so in a different space mentally I can’t even bring myself to do that,” the singer told the site. “It’s not [important] to me. There’s just so much stuff to get out of life than that. There’s so much more for me to accomplish in my career. Personally, I’ve decided that it doesn’t make sense to do that.”Supposedly the clashing began when Hilson dissed Ciara in her “Turnin’ Me On” remix. However, the singer denied the lyrics were targeted at anyone in particular. According to gossipers, Ciara decided to leave the show because they got into a verbal fight backstage at the Power 105.1 Power Live Show.
Show organizers dismissed the reports, but the New York Daily News said they had obtained a set list for Hilson, which had her scheduled to perform an hour before Ciara.
