EMMA WATSON whizzed her way over to Los Angeles for New Year's Eve.

The Harry Potter actress cut it close to the countdown on her flight. Fortunately she managed to make it back to the States, where she's studying, in time to enjoy the magic of New Year. Maybe she should have rented a broomstick from Hogwart's?

While Emma enjoys herself across the Atlantic, rapper EXAMPLE has been jokingly making a play for her via his Twitter page.

The rap star tweeted: "Emma Watson is so ******* rich she could buy Hogwart's."

He later added: "How Old is Emma Watson? Is she single? I'll sign a pre-nup."
